Coleman likes Bucs.
Speculation is rising that the soon to be free agent Rod Coleman is interested in joining the Bucs. According to our friends over at the Bucs Report on TBO.com Rod Coleman spent the morning on Sirius satellite radio gushing over the Bucs and their chances of returning to the super bowl sometime soon. Apparently the 31 year DT thinks the Bucs are only “a player or two away” and likes their chances. Coleman has spent the last four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and his first five seasons with the Oakland Raiders so he knows the Bucs and Jon Gruden pretty well. Coleman has racked up 58.5 sacks and 271 tackles in his nine seasons in the NFL and would add more depth and experience to the D-Line here. If the vet were to sign here and accept a more limited role I think it would be a good move for the Bucs. Jovan Haye and Chris Hovan did a nice job for the Bucs last season and adding Coleman would definitely be a plus.
