A couple of tidbits for the Bucs today…

  •    Free agent WR Antonio Bryant was signed today. Bryant is a journeyman with talent who has bounced around the league the last few years due to legal issues and attitude. Every year the Bucs bring in a reclamation project who has had off field issues. It sort of makes you feel like this area is becoming a rehab facility for troubled players, right?  Bryant, a second round pick of Dallas’ in ‘02,  had his best season in 2005 with the Cleveland Browns catching 69 balls for 1009 yards and 4 touchdowns. This is a guy who can be productive when his head’s in the right place.
  •    The only other news is the Bucs made the signing of TE Ben Troupe official without releasing contract details as of yet. We’ll bring you contract numbers when released for both players.
